CONTEST NOW CLOSED!
Guess who's being featured over at Ucreate? Well, hop on over and check it out!
I LOVE this blog! She posts so many cute things and ideas. Definately a MUST for my 'favorite blogs' list!
Thanks Kari for featuring ME!
In celebration of my feature I thought I would have a contest. Everyone LOVES contests, right!? So here's the deal. Sometimes when I design a pattern I stitch together the sample and realize that the pattern is just not going to work. Maybe the fabric doesn't work with the pattern. Maybe the pattern is just too 'funky'. Maybe I designed a quilt that looks cool but would take 10 pages to explain how to make it. In any case, I have several of these 'tops' hanging around my craft room. I keep thinking I'll do something with them- but I never do. Instead, I'm going to give them away as contest prizes. All you have to do is this:
Leave me a comment telling me your favorite Crazy Old Ladies pattern (they're listed to the right)
AND
Add yourself as a follower to this blog. Because, lets face it, you were going to anyway. ;o)
That's it! Easy- Schmeezy!
I'll let the contest go through the weekend and randomly select winners on Monday. I don't know how many winners I'll have- I need to count quilt tops first! :o)
Okay! I LOVE all of your designs and patterns...I think I have bought the majority. My absolute favorite though is Whimsy Playground. I haven't quite found the fabric yet that I want to use..I may wait to go on my shop hop in October. All your stuff is so much fun to work on...My mother in law says you're a little funky which who doesn't need a little funk right!
ReplyDeleteNewbie here. I love Flutterby and I'm so glad I found another fantastic quilty blog!
ReplyDeleteYou know me, I'm already linked up to you and all of your quilts are my favs. I love your new holiday line up. I thought I would get it done up at Girl's Camp but I didn't. Darn it all. I'm so glad I get to see you on a regular basis and I can call you one of my quilting friends and I can say I knew her before she became "famous" which you will be one day. Keep up the good work.

Again, they are all cute. And I'm sure, whom ever wins your fun contest will enjoy your pattern. I know I would.

ReplyDeleteOkay, I just love your site! My favorite is Just for Girls. I love the shabby chic line from Target and got to thinking that (although I've never made a quilt before) maybe I could make my daughter's bedding. How do I buy patterns?

All of your creations are beautiful!
I just inherited a BEAUTIFUL 1950's Singer sewing machine that runs like butter. I'm anxious to start quilting, and your blog is SO inspiring!!! A few of my favs are SURF SHOP (something cute for boys--yay!), HOLIDAY LINEUP, and LADYBUG PICNIC (one of my favorite songs).

ReplyDeleteI think they're all darling, but the Which Witch totally makes me smile!!! It reminds me of a pattern my good friend would quilt. LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI like the flutterby and Jelly Roll patterns.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading your blog, I wonder if there is hope for me. You have so much experience creating patterns and picking material and I am just a newbie. Several of my friends went to the shop hop so that we could all make our own quilt. It was at this time that I became familiar with your patterns. I was the most excited for our project. We started in Springville and ended in SLC. By the end of the day they all had their fabric and I was rushed to find something. The quilt is all cut out and ready to sew. Oh how I wished I could start over!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pattern is "postage due" I love the colors. It truly looks like a stamp. I like to send homemade cards to people that quilt reminds me of a cute stamp that could be applied to the card.
I am new to your blog and found it through Allie-Oops. What a great blog you have. That Postage Due quilt in your header...I LOVE that one, and have gotten halfway through your list....so think I really love them all. So nice to find you!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, I just found it and I am being so inspired! My most favorite is the "Down Under" so cute for a little boys room. I do like them all!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being featured on U create! Yes, you are not old nor crazy Emily! I know what you mean though, we quilters get a little crazy and obsessed about fabrics and our projects. Love your quilts!
ReplyDeleteIt is a very close tie between Holiday lineup and Whimsy Playground. They are both very unique. My sewing machine has been trying to entice me from my house chores all weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Postage Stamp quilt. My father has worked for the PO for the past 25-30 yrs so the love of the PO runs deep at home!! I love how it actually looks like a really really large stamp. hee hee. I also love th eLady Bug Picnic quilt. I am loving the horizontal stripped quilts!
ReplyDeleteYou are very talented and I've added you to my RSS feed of blogs I like.
I already had you in my reader. :) But I am now part of the "Followers" community too.
ReplyDeleteI love the Christmas Elf pattern. It reminds me of the Will Farrel movie ELF! :)
Hard to choose a favorite pattern but I think the Which Witch is so funny and I love that you changed it so you can use it for Christmas. I also like that you have a lot of children's quilt patterns. I'm hoping to be a grandma soon (my step-daughter is getting married in October) and I know I'll be looking for some patterns.
