Since I haven't had anyone email me pictures of their projects it looks like there's nothing new to 'SHOW' today. (C'mon people, I know you're sewing! Send me those pix!)
However, I've had quite a few comments on my last post with 'Cheery O's' so I thought I would address them.
THERE IS NO CURVED PIECING! But if I let you in on all of my secrets then nobody would need to go buy my patterns, right!?
So here's the deal. I'm going to GIVE AWAY a free pattern!
Leave me a comment telling me what 'color' phase you're into right now. For example: I went to my local shop this morning and bought 4 yards of yellow fabric from Simple Abundance (it's for a back) but I LOVE yellow right now. What about you?
Also, you can earn extra entries by having your friends comment on this post, too. Just make sure they put their name AND your name at the bottom of their post, so you get credit. Get it!?
I'll tally up the comments and pick a winner Thursday morning. GOOD LUCK!
I'm into pale greens and golds
ReplyDeleteI've been into a lot of reds lately of all different shades. I think I might pick up some aqua or teal and do a red and teal quilt sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteBlack & Pink. Just finished sewing a bag out of those colors! A refreshing break from the red, white & blue I used on sisters bag!
ReplyDeleteI've been in a pink mood which is totally out of character for me. What's next? Civil War repros? Just shoot me now!
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm in a "brights" phase--lots of teal, bright yellow, bright pink, etc.
ReplyDeleteBlack and white with another color to pop out... like lime green. or red. or yellow. So many choices!
ReplyDeleteLime and aqua - making a quilt for my 9 year old grandson. Very intriqueing peak at your quilt - I am curious and hope to win!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for deep teals and purples right now.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the mood for yellows and navy blues today {making an apron complete with roosters}.

I've been loving bright green Christmas colors.
ReplyDeleteI have been in a pink, green and brown phase. But as soon as I finish those projects I see myself moving into a red green and brown phase. I love your new Christmas quilt...I think that is why those new colors are standing out to me!!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently starting up a second project in teal/turquoise. The last one was paired with light green, brown and cream, and this time it's with lime green and navy. I am almost always working with RED and anything, so these colors have been a break from ordinary, but we're liking the results!
ReplyDeleteWell, right now I am in the season; I have cut out a fall quilt with leaves in the fabrics in tones of rich burgundy, rust, golds, greens and browns. I am also working on Halloween and then the rich blues with silver of Christmas. I am always into batiks, which I would love to use to make that quilt so count me in.
ReplyDeleteRight now I am into purple, mainly of the lavender variety. I just love it!
ReplyDeleteAquas and fern greens are calling to me the last 6 months...those beachy calm colors just sooth my soul! I love the fall seasonal colors because it's fall right now, but those beachy ones...my...I see a long future with them!
ReplyDeleteReds and yellows...but I really should be into purples since I've been collecting purples for a quilt for a long time! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that yellow in Simple Abundance too...in fact I love yellow right now in quite a few lines...there are some beautiful golden yellows in Mill House Inn that I love as well....maybe fall is making me inspired by these yellows and golds!
ReplyDeleteI am in to turquoise and brown - yum yum yum
ReplyDeleteLove your stuff
Blues and greens! My favorite two colors. :)
ReplyDeleteDeb sent me over!
Okay...you can call me a trend follower if you want...but lately I love the red and aqua combo. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm into reds! Greens are a second favorite. Deb told me about your blog!
ReplyDeleteI've always been a big fan of bold blues!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be entered to win your pattern. My favorite fabric these days is Simple Abundance. I just love the colors in this fabric line.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the red and green color phase right now. I have been stitching in the ditch around millions of flying geese with variegated red, green and white thread for four days now. (I can't do it for a long time without a break). I'm still not finished, but maybe by the end of the week.
ReplyDeleteI cannot get enough brown right now
ReplyDeleteI always love blue and purple and look for them but when I walk into a quilt shop I am always open to any colour. Sometimes a print just calls my name
ReplyDeleteI am into Turquoise and Brown but like chocolate brown And I think that these 2 would be cute in the cherry o pattern.
ReplyDeleteRight now I love Lime green...or pinks and browns...AND I am a lil stuck with pinks and black right now since I am redoing my daughters room in pinks and black
ReplyDeleteI am in a black, white, and red place right now. I am making your Heart Attack quilt in these colors for a special couple's first Christmas . Love it!
ReplyDeleteI am loving red and aqua - and I am very curious how that quilt is pieced??? hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteI am really into the burnt orange. Or any muted fall color.
ReplyDeleteI normally like traditional colors but lately I love orange. I love the brightness and the warmth of it. I recently made a quilt with summer colors. Now I find myself drawn to the bolder colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm into peaches and browns. They're what catch my eye. Peach has always been my favorite color but most of my quilts have blue as the main color. I have a show and tell to share as soon as it's quilted!
