I hope you've been following along with me and enjoyed every bit of it like I did. Can you believe those quilts? GORGEOUS!!!
The whole point of this tour was to give you even more inspiration. Sometimes it's hard to envision a quilt in different fabrics- now you have lots of ideas.
So what was your favorite!?
I'm having a hard time deciding. I'd like ALL OF THEM! :o)
To thank you for following along I'm going to give away a few copies of the book
Where all of the patterns for these quilts came from.
To enter all you need to do is
1.) make sure you're a follower :o)
2.) tell me which quilt from the tour was your favorite
3.) tell me which quilt you would make first if you won the book.
I'll pick the winners on FRIDAY!
My favourite is Marion's Gamer quilt. I would make Urban Decay from the book.

ReplyDeleteI loved Ellie's remix of Helix and I'd probably attempt that one myself!
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog. I LOVED April's version of Oddball -- the addition of the flamingo was so cute! I think the first one I want to make though is the one that looks like a spiral.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is April's Swithcback and I would start with that one! I follow on google reader. Loved the tour!
ReplyDeleteTough call. My two favorites were helix and oddball. I thing I would do oddball first and then helix. Loved them both that much. Thanks for showing the other ways to envision a quilt. It helps to see the possibilities.
ReplyDeleteI *love* Michael's colorful helix, and Ellie's teal background helix. Pretty sure my first quilt from the book will be either an Oddball or Switchback quilt.

ReplyDeleteI am a happy follower of your blog!
ReplyDeleteShari's quilt has wonderful colors.
ReplyDeleteI seriously can not pick just one quilt! I would have to start with the first quilt and work my way through systematically quilt by quilt! Quite possibliy working on 2color variations at a time! I love how on this posting you have given the variations of the cover quilt and the orange version so closely together...it has really set my brain to spinning...as in, how would that look in purples and indigo and lime? Or the variation at the top in beautiful summer brights so closely displayed to the green/brown version from the book....now that has me leaning in the direction of replacing the grays with cobalt and navy and the bright colors with yellow, gold, tangerine and orange...or maybe head in another direction and use our local football team colors! I just love this book! It provides such enjoyment and unleashes so much creativity!!!!! Now to find a way to make dirty dishes and laundry piles vanish to allow more time to sew!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower via FB & via email (gotta make sure not to miss a posting... :D) and at this very moment....I like the Switchback quilt the most...but seriously, I need to find a way to create more time these quilts are all wonderful!!!! :D

I'm a follower! My favorite quilt from the tour was Switchback, and that's also the quilt I would make first if I won the book. It's such a great quilt and has kind of a southwestern feel that both my Dad and my husband would love! I might have to make two!
ReplyDeleteAfter that, I might just have to make April's (Making Ends Meet) version of the Oddball Quilt. I love the bright colors and the "odd ball"! :-)
Thanks for the opportunity and your generosity to us all!
