Is it too late to start a few Christmas decor projects? Yesterday I was looking for pine cones at the local craft stores. They all told me they were out and that I was a month late. I should have said "No. I'm just 11 months early!" :o)
So with no pine cones....YET! I started pulling fabrics.
In my tree garland post I mentioned I wanted to make a tree skirt. Just simple squares- nothing fancy.
Then today I was at Gracie Lou's and I saw this magazine. Do you see that wreath!? I think I need to make that to match my garland too.
I pulled from my reds.
and I pulled from my greens.
I didn't have many aqua's so I picked a couple of those up while I was at Gracie Lou's.
Put it all together and I have one nice looking collection.
If I get the urge to sew I'll go for it- but no pressure. I've given myself a different end-of-the-year deadline.
I really want my hexie quilt top finished by the new year. But I tell ya, if I keep gluing papers to the RIGHT side of the fabrics it's going to take me a long time. :o)
HAPPY SEWING!!!
