This is NO JOKE!

Hello? Hello? Is anyone there?

My gosh, can you believe I haven't blogged in a month! I didn't mean for such a dry spell to happen but one day turned to two and two turned to three and the next thing I knew 31 days had passed since my last post!

It's not like I've been sitting around watching old episodes of Grey's Anatomy all day (ok, some days I did) I've been pretty busy. Before I get into regularly scheduled blogging I thought I'd re-cap the last month and show you what I've been up to.

I was able to watch my girl, Paris Lillian perform as part of her school's 3rd grade program. What a cute bunch of kids!

I took an impromptu road trip with two of my brothers (Evan on the far left and Zach and the far right) from Utah to Oklahoma to surprise my other brother Trevor and his wife, along with my parents who were visiting them from California. We drove 17 hours straight and surprised the heck out of them! We stayed one day then turned around and drove home. It was unforgettable and an awesome experience but I am not as young as I once was so it took me a couple days to recover. :o)

The reason for our road trip was my SIL, Jesse's baptism. It was such an amazing day and I'm so glad I was able to be there to support her and share in her special day.

Another special event in March was Logan's 12th birthday. Gilbert's parents were able to come visit and share the special day with us when Logan received the Priesthood and was ordained a Deacon. I can't believe my little guy is 12!

Along with Logan's birthday we became the proud owners of 3 hermit crabs! Look close, they're in there. :

But don't think I haven't been quilting here and there. In fact, I've been sewing up a storm. It is market season, after all. This beauty uses V and Co's new Color me Happy collection. I just got this one back from the quilter today and it definitely makes me HAPPY. :o)

I worked on another market project using Zen Chic's new collection (showing at spring market) I love the blues. And the individual prints are so fun- including texty prints with numbers on them. :o)

I also played around drafting and sewing up quite a few pups for Michael Miller using their Houndstooth and Friends in the Midnite Gems color story. Oh, these are fun and addicting!

So you see, I've been busy.

Today a very large, very heavy box showed up at my door. Inside were yards and yards of fabric. Fabric that just happens to be my NEW COLLECTION!!! Seriously I am so excited I can hardly stand it. At this point I'm supposed to keep it a secret but you know I can't keep secrets very well so I may just have to sneak you a little peek here are there.

I hope you've been sewing all kinds of fun things!

See you soon!
