I know you want some

THIS CONTEST IT NOW CLOSED!

International Quilt Market is THIS WEEK!

Things around here are nothing less than hectic.

As I was putting the finishing touches on one of the many projects for my booth I had a thought....

When was the last time I had a giveaway? And what better time for a giveaway than now?

So....are you dying to get your grubby little hands on some 'Going Coastal'?

I have a fat quarter bundle (tied with rope!) of every print in the line. And because a fat quarter was just not enough, I put a 1/2 yard each of the Bottle Cap print and the Patchwork Plaid print.

All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me WHY you LOVE this line!? (sorry, I just can't hear enough of it right now!)

I'll pick a winner next monday....after Market.

Good luck to you!

I need this because I used to live in California and miss the beach. Have not been able to get back since 1994 and that breaks my heart. This would make an adorable beach quilt for a California beach girl!!

I want to get my hands on some Going Coastal because 1) it has a cute name, 2) I grew up on the east coast, then 3) I lived on the west coast, 4) I've worked for the Post Office (think about it), and 5) what's not to like about this fabric? Silly, of course I want some! Send it soon.

it's fun and youthful without crossing the line into juvenile. it's also 'genderless' Would therefore make some very cute yet sophisticated summer pieces for my 7 month old boy/girl twins. i'm thinking bottlecap shorts for jack and a plaid and sand dollar bubble suit for abby :)

Jen said...

Because I love everything about the beach! I love the gray you added to the collection. Very fun!

Jen said...

I love everything about the beach! I can totally see the plaid in coastal towns. :) The line reminds me of us boating when we were kids. And, the gray rocks!

Maria said...

I love the orange mixed with the greys. It really makes the colours pop!

First of all I need to say that I am new to the quilting world, but have spend MANY hours searching for tips, patterns, fabrics, etc. to get started. I had a baby boy 5 weeks ago and have been in love with baby quilts and wanting to make him one...our first family vacation will be to Myrtle Beach and would love to make him a quilt. Some of the outfits we purchased for him have crabs and turtles on them so I have been searching for crabs and turtles (and to be honest pirates too). This fabric has this wonder theme - in addition to the plaids and "boyish" colors. I absolutely love this line and can't wait to start my first quilt!!

I love this fabric, I love coastal fabric, it is blue, orange, has crabs and plaids, that is what I love about it!

maggie said...

I am mad about these fabrics and living on the Maine coast where its more rocky then "beachy" I'd love to make a quilt for myself for a change. maggie

Going coastal is awesome! I'm a girl who loves sailing, loves the water, picked up sand dollars, shells and pretty rocks on the beach and among the seaweed washed up by storms as a kid and has an odd affinity for madras. And I love the colors you have used. Bravo!

I am so crazy about your collection Emily. I'm super happy for you and all of your success. I really really really have to have this fat quarter bundle. I already know exactly what I want to do with it :-)

Because I miss the beach soooooo much? Having lived on all coasts, I am now on the Mississippi River (will that help with the flooding we have?)and there just isn't any beachy stuff here. Thanks.

This nautical theme is hot and I'd sure like to dress up my family room from island to Costal!

I'm a complete water baby. I can't bear to be away from the sea. Luckily it's just a mile down the road from where I live! I love all sea themes and yours has to be the best take on clear clean seaside than any designs I've seen in a long time.
Congratulations
