Secret Garden

Remember that stack of quilts I was teasing you with a couple weeks ago?

Well, here is the firs of 5 new patterns that we have. I absolutely fell in love with this fabric line from the moment I saw it. It's EDEN by Lila Tueller for Moda. I love the spring-y-ness of it. Honestly, my photos do it no justice- you have to see this one in person.

This quilt pattern was one I designed over a year ago and finally found the right fabric for the job. I love how it all blends together and takes your eye a moment to see the pattern. I've done it in more contrasting prints too, and am equally pleased with the results.

At last minute I decided to pull it out of mu 'unfinished' pile and snap a quick pic to show you. I made this one out of a Heather Mulder Peterson line. I think the contrast is striking. (Please forgive the wrinkles)

So, what do you think?

Let me know your opinion of my new pattern and you may just WIN one! :o)

I like both of them but the contrasting one is especially wonderful.

I really like your new pattern and think the name of "Secret Garden" so fits the quilt made from the "Eden" fabric.

This is such an intriquing pattern. I found myself staring intently at the pic to figure out the pattern. Then I read that you might be giving a pattern away and figured if I win the pattern I don't have to give myself a headache trying to figure out this small pic. :-) Take care and God bless, Cory

Love, love this new pattern! The color possibilities are endless!

Love them both!!! When you look close you see it's a fairly easy pattern to do but the end result makes it looks way more complicated...I love it for that reason and both quilts are very nice!!!

It is a beautiful quilt pattern - both are beautiful quilts. I really like the trip around the world setting, and saw that setting in a log cabin, and this one is even better, much more interesting.

I love the subtlety achieved using Eden--that line is so yummy. Using more contrast, like with Heather's fabrics, makes the pattern diamonds really pop. I really like the versatility of your new pattern! Hope you let us see the other real soon :0)

You've outdone yourself! It took me a minute for my eyes to focus and see the pattern. Good blend of spring!! I long for green! I originally thought it was a "new way" to go "around the world". You Rock!!!

I ♥ the second design! I just bought a bunch of Chez Moi fat quarters and have been looking for a neat pattern that contrasts with white to make my youngest daughter a quilt....I think this is going to be 'the one'!

What a great pattern! I really like the diamond pattern that gives it a bit of movement. I can't decide whether I like it better in the subtle fabrics or the more striking fabrics. I definitely like the border you chose for the Lila Tueller version - the white bands that extend vertically really appeal to me.

I really like your new design, very much. I also love the colors & fabrics you used in both of these quilts. This design certainly lends itself well to a planned pallette and I think it would work well for scraps too.

And I'd love to win one and give this design a try!
